School of Rock is a performance-based music school that teaches students of all ages how to play instruments, sing, and perform live music. Our unique approach combines one-on-one instruction with group rehearsals, allowing students to apply their skills in a real band setting.

At our Fremont location, we are deeply committed to being an active part of the community. Our team and leadership are highly involved in local initiatives, working closely with community partners and organizations to create meaningful opportunities for our students.

A core part of our mission is showcasing our students within the community—through live performances, local events, and partnerships—so they not only grow as musicians, but also gain confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging. We believe music has the power to bring people together, and we’re proud to contribute to the cultural and creative energy of Fremont.

As part of a global network, School of Rock offers a proven curriculum rooted in classic and modern rock music, helping students build strong musical skills while becoming part of something bigger than themselves.

Our journey began in September 2024 when we purchased our franchise, and it has been a meaningful and rewarding path to opening our doors. Fremont’s recognition as one of the best places to raise a family reflects the care and intention behind its community and leadership. We quickly saw that firsthand, as the process to become part of this city is thoughtful and thorough—and for good reason.

From day one, we’ve been committed to being more than just a business here. Our first opportunity to engage was volunteering at the Chamber’s Tree Lighting event, where we were truly inspired by the warmth, connection, and pride within the community. That experience reaffirmed that choosing Fremont was the right decision for us, and we’re excited to continue building relationships and contributing to this incredible city.

We’re not your typical music school. From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice that we do things differently. We’re a performance-based music program where students don’t just learn music—they live it. Our students take the stage, learning by performing in a real, rock-and-roll environment. They experience what it’s like to be part of a band—collaborating, supporting one another, and growing together—much like a team sport. Every rehearsal builds toward a live performance, giving students the confidence, skill, and excitement of being true musicians.

One thing that makes School of Rock Fremont truly unique is that we are a family-owned business. Our family has gone through the entire School of Rock program and experienced its impact firsthand. The program made such a meaningful difference for us that we wanted to share this experience with other families. We are very dedicated to bringing a top-notch, first-class musical experience to our community, helping students grow as musicians while fostering a love of music.
