Stellar Academy was founded in 1988 by parents who were looking for Grade 2 to 8 education tailored to the needs of their children with dyslexia, who struggled in the traditional school environment. We are a not-for-profit organization funded by tuition and donations dedicated to providing children with dyslexia the education they need to thrive throughout their lives. We place students in classes according to their abilities rather than grades and provide a supportive environment that builds their self-esteem, confidence, and academic success using proven and comprehensive teaching methods. We are conveniently located in Newark, California, and support students from across the greater Bay Area.
