Papasan Rolls and Bowls is a Japanese Mom and Pop restaurant that opened in 2016 in Fremont, California. The owner Jesse grew up working in the food industry since he was fourteen years old. His Japanese mother taught him about Japanese culture and cooking when he was a young boy. With the help of Jesse’s wife Peggie, they were successful in opening their very first restaurant-Papasan Rolls and bowls. Because Jesse grew up with the Japanese culture as well as worked and trained in Japan itself, he incorporates the authenticity of Japanese cuisine in every dish.
