The Senior Accountant will manage key accounting processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This role ensures financial compliance with company policies, procedures, and GAAP standards. 

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Has a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with complex financial analyses.
• Is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable performing financial modeling.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and post journal entries for revenue, payroll, and general ledger updates.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts, bank balances, and payroll accruals.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Review income and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support accounting staff with bookkeeping responsibilities, including:
  • Verifying, posting, and allocating business transactions.
  • Summarizing and transferring data to the general ledger.
  • Reconciling and balancing accounts.
  • Compiling financial reports such as cash flow, profit/loss, and payables/receivables.
