Join HERS Breast Cancer Foundation on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for frivolity and fun at a Speakeasy Soirée… also known as HERS Breast Cancer Foundation's 17th Annual People with Purpose Gala. Proceeds will support the post-surgical product and service needs of our most vulnerable patients: individuals who are low income, underinsured or uninsured.

Your ticket purchase will grant access, once you reveal your password, to a bash like no other! You’ll dive into signature cocktails and enjoy live music and games of chance followed by a delicious three-course dinner that’ll be the bee’s knees! And listen, pals: don’t be a wet blanket! Bring plenty of dough (aka your credit card – we’re cash only, baby!) because our auctions are always the cat’s meow. Bottom line… this is the genuine article… the real McCoy! Register today then tell your fellow swells to step on it because this hotsy-totsy wingding will sell out!

Our Speakeasy Soirée will include a Cocktail Reception featuring our signature Cat’s Pajamas and Bee’s Knees Cocktails and delicious appetizers served in the Giggle Water Garden where guests will also enjoy live music by the Mission Gold Jazz Band as well as games of chance, our live auction preview, and silent auction bidding.

Dinner and presentations will begin at 7:00 pm in our Swanky Speakeasy (aka the Grand Ballroom) where you’ll be welcomed by emcee Heather Holmes of KTVU News and auctioneer Marcus D. of Star 101 FM. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner with wine, welcome remarks, see who wins our Glitz in a Glass and Ace of Spades game prizes, and bid on amazing live auction items.

You’ll also view an impactful testimonial film followed by our fund-a-need portion of the evening. Interspersed with these activities will be our HERS Awards Presentation followed by closing remarks. This year's honorees are: Alameda County Supervisor Elisa Márquez (District 2), Dan Kosin and Rosana Kosin, Corina Haralson, and Elaine McElroy.

Suggested Attire: Let’s party like it’s 1926! Make like a Doll or Moll…a Big Cheese or Dapper Dan! Put your glad rags on! Feathers, fedoras, pearls, and pinstripes are encouraged.

Tickets are available at our Greater Giving page and are $175 per person. Tables of eight guests are $1,200.
