Bike to Fremont Street Eats on May 15

Each year, we celebrate the entire month of May as Bike Month, with a special day designated as ‘Bike to Wherever Day.’ This year, Bike to Wherever Day is Thursday, May 14. We invite you to continue the celebration and ride your bike to Fremont Street Eats on Friday, May 15. Produced in partnership with the City of Fremont, Bike Fremont, and Bike East Bay.

Pre-pandemic, this local holiday was known as Bike to Work Day (BTWD) and was a celebration of bicycles as a fun and healthy way to get to work, as well as an opportunity for those who don’t usually bike commute to try it out. It’s also a time to advocate for improved bicycle infrastructure and safety.

Today we embrace an expanded season of celebration, and the many ways people bike, whether it’s to work, on an errand, to visit friends, or just for fun!

A weekly food truck event held in downtown Fremont every Friday from May through October.
